Seeing Stars
by Patricia Shepherd

Your chart for the Month

Beginning 17 December 2007 – 20 January 2008

CAPRICORN
Saturn your ruling planet not only retrogrades till early May 2008 but also has great cosmic links to Jupiter. This is a time whereby with conscious effort great gains can be made on a physical and mental level. The impetus may be to further your study or expand your knowledge and experience, perhaps through overseas travel.

AQUARIUS
With the karmic North Node moving into your sign you may find yourself wanting to associate with people with widely varying interests. The cultivation of these social contacts will provide the stimulation needed for those reformatory or innovative objectives that have been bubbling below the surface.

PISCES
The Fish becomes more idealistic than usual with their attention turning from career to more community minded pursuits. Group activities and values play an important role in expanding your world and as this is not a time to go it alone, new associates and friends will be very supportive.

ARIES
Starting to wonder if you will ever get it right? Perhaps it’s a matter of not what you are saying or doing but more the manner in which it is done. It is very difficult for you not to take things personally now but try and look to see if it is your attitude that provokes others who may feel under attack.

TAURUS
Our stubborn little Ram may be feeling a little restless throughout the first few weeks of January, shocking those that know them with their seemingly out of character behaviour. Who said they couldn’t flirt along with the best of them?

GEMINI
With your ruling planet Mercury activating the third quadrant (houses 7, 8, 9,) for the month, relationship issues come to the fore. Any negotiations over joint finances or property should be completed by January 27th. So too any travel details should be finalised and worked out.

CANCER
The demands of others seem excessive and over the top leaving you feeling angry, frustrated and out of sorts. Career moves appear to have stalled but don’t lose heart. Timing is not quite right and when it is your increased energy levels sees you fighting for what is rightfully yours.

LEO
If you have overindulged throughout the festive season you can expect a bit of weight gain to occur. As you feel an increase in mental and physical health attention should be given to matters of self-improvement so take the opportunity to set in place an exercise regime tailored to your needs.

VIRGO
Self doubting Virgo will see an increase in confidence which can be beautifully utilised by taking up a hobby or some sort of creative pastime. In this way social relationships are expanded and self esteem enhanced. Book into any new courses before January 27th to avoid delays or disappointments.

LIBRA
The relationship between siblings has been a major focus for a number of years. A much needed transformation has been taking place allowing you to gain a new perspective that will have far reaching effects. All relationships need to grow and evolve; some issues still have not been resolved and when they resurface need to be dealt with so you can move forward.

SCORPIO
For those of you going through legal proceedings, property settlements or loans you may have experienced one set back after another. Use these delays to review or rework your options so that when things finally move forward in February you will be ready and raring to go.

SAGITTARIUS
Jupiter planet of expansion moves into your 2nd house, an event that happens around every 12 years. During the next 12 months the urge to gain more financial security is strong. This may see you applying for a better paying job or indeed, as your self-confidence increases, approaching a current employer for a pay rise.
