At school I was the bell ringer, played rugby league and swam for the school … but also was a bit of a prangster

I often wonder what would have happened had I studied law
Describe your business … what makes it different/better YOC and particularly the SmartPages local directory is a fresh new opportunity for me to help other business people get their message out to the local community. It has unique features and benefits that would be hard if not impossible to find anywhere else.
How long have you worked in the area? Off and on for over 30 years
Short term goals? What about 5 years? Grow my business so that I can consider retiring and travel Australia with my wife
How long in current business? We published our first e-magazine in April last year

What you love about your work? I am a people person … I love meeting and helping new people
What you would improve about the area/or your work? Like any new business improving the awareness of what we do is our major challenge. If I could wave a magic wand and resolve that issue overnight it would be great

My old Credit Union boss, who pushed me outside my comfort zone and had me try to succeed at things I didn’t think I could

My wife of 32 years has been by my side through thick and thin … she also keeps my books up to date
What business books do you read? I haven’t read much lately but I do like motivational success stories
