CANCER
Tomorrow’s New Moon in your sign provides a wonderful opportunity to empower yourself and strengthen your personal foundations. Become conscious of your needs and move towards achieving them.
LEO
Mercury’s movement into your sign and the alignment with Mars ensures a pretty busy time ahead. Your energy levels are high so don’t expect others to keep up with you – your competitive levels are strong.
VIRGO
If an opportunity arises take the initiative and don’t let feelings of inhibition hold you back. At times you are far too hard on yourself and you look for fault where none exists or is irrelevant.
LIBRA
Relationships may be a bit tense as a lowering of standards has you on edge. You can charm the birds from the trees if you set your mind to it so speak your mind and see the respect gained.
SCORPIO
Your level of tolerance seems to be pretty low so you may need to develop a bit of diplomacy. You may also like to look at why it is you need so much control and certainty in your life.
SAGITTARIUS
If you need to get out and about do so over the next week or so as you will enjoy more than usual the travelling and /or social interaction. Family relationships are particularly enhanced.
CAPRICORN
The New Moon falls in your seventh house of relationships and can herald new beginnings if you are prepared to make a radical reappraisal and start from scratch with a fresh approach.
AQUARIUS
All plans and routine should fly out the window this week, as your restlessness will not let you settle for the drab or mundane. Try something new and exciting that broadens your horizon or knowledge.
PISCES
Tomorrow’s New Moon falls in your solar fifth house of self-esteem, children, recreation and romance to name a few. Recognise what you need and allow it to permeate your being, increasing self-confidence.
ARIES
You are able to express yourself well this week without the usual forcefulness that has others think you are spoiling for a fight or only want things your own way, so present your case and see how it goes.
TAURUS
If you are feeling isolated and alone don’t dig yourself into a hole and wallow. Self-pity is for the faint hearted and you are anything but. Take an honest look around and then re-evaluate.
GEMINI
Mercury moves into the fiery Leo so confidence increases and when we add the stimulating alignment to Mars in your sign you gain an abundance of creative and positive thinking. Put it out there.
NEW MOON at 29 CANCER 27
Cancer is the sign of the fourth house signifying the importance of home and family. Associated with the yin, feminine principle, it is the nourishing base, the foundation needed to support our path in life. Without a secure base we are unable to go forth in life with confidence and security instead past conditioning and unhealthy environments limit our contribution. Just as a plant withers and dies without the support of a strong established root system so too can we crumble if we have not had the support we need to grow strong and true.
The 29-degree or 0 degree is a critical degree in astrology known as the anaretic degree. It's the last degree of the zodiac sign, and there can be a real sense of urgency surrounding the characteristics and associations of the particular sign. Problems also arise with decision making and vacillation.
Aligned with both Uranus and Pluto this New Moon in Cancer speaks perhaps of guarding against jumping into or taking on a situation simply for the safety and security it offers. All new starts or beginnings have inherent in them an element of risk as we go into uncharted territories. First we need to accept change and if we have become emotionally stagnant we need to let go of rigid or obsessive emotions and accept that a fulfilling life may be ladled with uncertainty.
Two New Moons in Cancer in one year and this one is combined with a Solar Eclipse emphasising the importance of something new emerging. You may not have had control over your childhood but you certainly have a choice now.
